The garden in December and January - visit the feathered feed guests

For the Three Kings Day on 06 your January predicted temperatures above zero degrees Celsius - that thaw. Before I show you some pictures of our snowy December and January garden.
The Kleiber nibbles in the north house

And most of all the images of our feathered guests lining. They were all there, all - and have nibbled on fat balls, oatmeal, peanuts & Co. We have three feeding stations in the garden - two bird feeders and cat-safe structure of our Rose arc.

The Arch is always something going
The blackbirds love the oatmeal-fat blend . They are quite large relative to the smaller more delicate tits. The blackbirds prefer the Südfutterhäuschen.

certainly also because of our stand next to the largest rose garden and a small cherry tree - that offer many wonderful vantage points.

Also blue tits were visiting. There were many other hungry guests and crested tits, finches and even a bullfinch. Also a great spotted woodpecker one of the temporary garden residents.

And a very very large bird in our garden: a jay. The squeeze is really in the Südfutterhaus - just so that it fits in..

We are delighted by our feathered garden visitors. And we could watch them for hours. So a beautiful piece of nature!

Some birds are predisposed real acrobatic: who would have thought that the part rather clumsy acting sooooo blackbirds to an athletic and artistic maneuver can do?

edit on 09 January 2011: Ascension of
